Our Calgary office at the AcceleratorYYC is closed due to flooding until further notice. All the staff where we share an office with are doing ok, and so far the office is still dry. We were very devastated by the scenes especially downtown Friday morning. We have checked in with many of our colleagues in Calgary and they are doing fine. Thankfully many of them live in areas where they do not need to be evacuated. The speed and extent of the flooding in southern Alberta has certainly taken many of our Calgarian friends by surprise.

As a company with many friends, colleagues, clients, suppliers, and roots in Calgary and Alberta, we feel extremely compassionate to all those affected by this. Our principal as well as a number of our staff are planning on volunteering our time to help rebuild Calgary in the coming weeks. BenefitDeck has also made a donation to the Canadian Red Cross to assist people affected by flooding in Alberta.
